Zero Hours Justice offers their free No Zero Hours Accreditation Scheme to all employers in the private, public, and third sectors who do not employ workers on zero-hours contracts. They also provide a Fairer Hours Employer Accreditation for those who use zero-hours contracts but adhere to minimum requirements.
Chris Peace, Director of Zero Hours Justice, says:
"Most workers are on zero-hours contracts because it was the only work they could find. Not knowing what hours you are working from one day to the next makes planning your finances stressful. At a time when the cost of living continues to increase, workers need to know when they are working to plan their lives and pay their bills. Many employers recognize that using zero-hours contracts with little notice does not make for a happy and productive workforce, and we applaud those who are leading the way by not using them, such as Colourhouse Masterbatch Ltd."
Brian Davies, Director of Colourhouse Masterbatch Ltd, adds:
"With personal experience of how these contracts can affect an individual’s work-life balance, I vowed that if I ever got into a position to help end the practice, I would seize the opportunity. Now, I am proud to announce that Colourhouse Masterbatch has achieved accreditation as a No Zero Hours Employer, proving our commitment to our employees and their families."
