Here at Colourhouse Masterbatch Ltd we can provide your prefered colour based on your specific polymers such as
Polystyrene
Used extensively by manufacturing industries to produce a wide range of consumer goods.
The largest markets for Polystyrene include packaging such as food and dairy containers, closures, lids, produce baskets, vending cups and fast food containers and toys.
The durable goods sector includes domestic appliances, household goods and furniture. It is also widely used in foam packaging and insulation materials.
Polypropylene
Polypropylene is available in three general forms, Homopolymer, Copolymer and Block Copolymer. It is a tough and flexible polymer, especially when copolymerised with ethylene and has excellent chemical resistance and mechanical properties. It is a translucent material and has gradually replaced polyethylene's for many purposes.
Injection moulding is the largest market for PP but it can also be made into fibres, film, sheet and be extruded into pipe and conduit.
Some of the many uses include carpet, ropes, bottles, caps, living hinges, food containers, cable insulation, loudspeaker cones and fibres for use in both clothing and carpets. Polypropylene and its blends have become the plastic of choice in the car industry.
We have formulated Polypropylene masterbatches for use in many applications, including automotive, caps and closures and fibre production to name a few.
UV exposure can cause degradation so UV additives are commonly used. These can be incorporated into masterbatch to give a one step solution to your processing needs.
Low density polyethylene (LDPE)
mainly used in film applications for both packaging and non-packaging applications. Other markets include extrusion coatings, sheathing in cables and injection moulding applications.
